Amee Catalano, MSW, LSWAIC is a 26-year-old social worker living in Seattle, Washington, USA. Her social work practice is rooted in intersectional feminist perspectives on mental health and social justice. Additionally, her practice includes use of the expressive arts–art, poetry writing, music, books, play–as interventions for any and all ages. Active in the arts since a child, Amee’s favorite creative mediums include (but most definitely not limited to) painting, poetry writing, art journaling, mandala-creating. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Critical Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Humboldt State University. She received her Master’s of Social Work at Smith College School for Social Work.
When she’s not busy social working, she enjoys going to the beach to collect agates while her beautiful one-eyed dog Ida May prances beside her.
